Last Call| Ludum Dare 48 (2013) | Game Maker Studio
‘Last Call’ is a silly/fun game we made for the 48th Ludum Dare whose theme was ‘You only get one.’
The concept is simple (yet really stupid): you just received a message from someone telling you to call back as soon as possible (it seems quite important…).
In this case you don’t know who let you the message and you don’t have his/her number: all you have is a melody that is composed of 5 notes corresponding to the phone keys, and you have to reproduce it in order to reach the mysterious caller.
The problem is: you only have one penny left in your pocket (yeah, phones will be coin-operated in the future, you’ll see…), so you this is your… Last Call!
What happens if you manage to reproduce the melody: you listen to a fun/weird dialogue and then the game tells you that you have won!
What happens if you DON’T manage to reproduce the melody: you listen to a fun/weird dialogue and then the game tells you that you have lost!
That’s all folks!
(we had tons of fun recording dialogues ^^’)
